Monday was my last day in Iriga. We went and had a great time doing stuff together for pday. We got massages from the massage chair and shopped around some other places. then we had a member feed us dinner that was super good. some fish thing. Elder Wilkins didn't like it too much.
Tuesday was travel day. We got up at like 5 to get on the bus so we could make it to naga before 8. Once there I met my new comp elder Wells. fun fact he was elder Wilkins comp in the mtc. He is super cool and we have had a good time together. He is from Morgan Utah.... I had no clue where that was.... We spent the rest of the day travelling. Great news about the area we get to use bikes!!!! that has been crazy fun but makes my butt hurt pretty darn bad as well.
Wednesday we got to work in the area. It is a lot of just trees and jungle but that's okay. They just finished baptizing a lot of people here so right now we are back to square one. Finding.
Thursday we continued finding and met a couple people from the ward. Oh yeah that is pretty cool news. I am in a ward. First time that has ever happened. cool experience we had nowhere to go at night so we said a prayer and both felt prompted to go down this one road and try a certain house. the guy at the house said buzz off but we oym'ed these two girls and both of us just felt the spirit way strong so we must of done something right.
Friday was district council. I am in a district of 8 which is cool considering the last couple have just been 4 of us.
Saturday we just did some more finding. taught a couple lessons which was great. the people here are all willing to listen but action is a little tough.
Sunday was fun. We got to meet the ward. they all seem really supportive so I think the work here will really get going pretty good.
