Gross

Well I had a pretty fun week this week.  Monday our land lord made us clean out under our stairs which was super super gross. All the past missionaries just threw all their crap under there so yeah nasty. Also it had all these rats and cockroaches in it so that just made it all the better. When we finished it was about 5 or 6 garbage bags just full of all this stuff covered in poop. Anyways we survived that somehow and it is all clean and rat free now. Some of the cockroaches in there though were huge. Bigger than my thumb by far. Tuesday Elder Ogzewalla was feeling super sick so we ended up going to the hospital and that took most of the day just waiting there for results and stuff. When they finally came back all they said was to rest and drink lots of water so that was a super fun way to spend the day. Wednesday we had our Zone conf. and that was super fun. The senior missionaries gave an awesome presentation about how to become more personally converted and I really liked it a lot and took a ton from it. Thursday  was just a pretty normal day but our RC brother Reyes gave me this super sweet gold watch as a SR (gift of remembrance) so I was way pumped about that. Friday we had a CSP as well as exchanges with the ZLs and that was way fun. For the CSP we helped clean out a members yard that was crazy overgrown with weeds and stuff. Pretty good time because the only tool they gave us was machetes. You already know that  we had a great time chopping up the bigger weeds. The rest of exchanges were good as well. I got to work with Elder Gatewood. He goes home next week so understandably he is pretty pumped but luckily he still works hard as well. We mostly got punted but we had a good time so it wasn't a big deal really. He is from Hawaii so maybe we should go visit him ;). Saturday and Sunday  were pretty darn normal for us. Just out trying to teach people the gospel. It is holy week now so everybody and their cat is Catholic for the week. That should make it fun to work this week. Today we had our district activity which was a blast. We went hiking up the only mountain that is here. Had a great view and really helped me see just how dang small Naga is. The senior couple works in Iriga zone so they aren't in the same zone as me sadly. My branch President is great. he has been the president for like 10 years so he is understandably a little trunky but he also really knows what he is doing so that is great. our transfer is next week.  Elder Ogzewalla has been here for 6 months now, so he will probably move and I will stay. We have matching shirts because we wanted comp shirts and they are just cool. Today we had a district activity.  We got up at 5 went and played a little volleyball and then we had a member drive us up to mt isarog and then hiked up it a bit.
I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!!

Hey! Honestly this week wasn't super exciting. We went on exchanges Tuesday and I got to work with Elder Gregory. It was a blast because he is a Buhi baby like me and he also played computer games and he loves watches so we talked about all that stuff and it was just a good time. Elder Ogzewalla and I have been trying to find new people to teach as well as progress our other investigators but sadly not much has really been happening. I am on a goal to get some of my weight back. One day all within like 10 minutes I ate 2 hamburgers a bag of these chocolate filled snack things and some ice cream. It was great. Honestly I'm trying to think of what else we did this week but it was mostly just walked around getting punted. It sounds like all of you had an awesome week though.
Sorry this email is way short but I just can't think to say anything. mostly just walking. I sent a pic of the inside courtyard of a church in our zone as well as a road that we walk down a lot. If you want to imagine what I am doing all week maybe just turn on the shower until it is really steamy and hot then look at that picture and pretend you already walked like 4 miles and you are gonna keep going down it another 5 or 6. I love you all so much!

March 12, 2018

Hey sorry about last week. We really just ended up not having much time which is lame but then again not a ton of super interesting things happened last week either so it is all good. This week went by pretty fast. Monday we got to work with the ZLs from Iriga which you may remember was my first zone. They are super fun and we had a great time.  Tuesday we worked with a member and extended to an investigator that we found by him coming to church. Apparently elder Brown had taught him almost a year ago and then missionaries after that dropped him. His wife is a member and he finally decided that getting baptized would be a good idea so he came to church again. Anyways we are pumped for him. We also had interviews with president and he said by our next interview he wants me to be Filipino. So fluent. I for sure have some work to do but hopefully I can do it. Working in Camaligan has been super fun and I hope I will be here for another two transfers which would put me in here for 6 months. Of course some days I feel like I have walked my entire area just about 100 times. We had dinner at a member's house and we were able to give him a blessing for some chest pain he has been having. Then the next day we got a call from a sister who needed a blessing so we went over there and helped her out as well. In a perfect world we would be able to have her home teachers give a blessing but that is something that the branch still needs to work on. So I guess it isn't too different from America. We got invited to a less active members birthday party Saturday which was awesome. Sadly he got in a motorcycle accident a few days before so he was all scratched up. They gave us so much food it was totally awesome. Saturday we also went out to our furthest area and there just happened to be a member out there who was in some pain and asked us if we could give her a blessing. Lots of blessing this week it was great. The weather here has been either hot and sunny or rainy. Not a ton changes here. I have been eating really well. They just put a big mac in by the church which is a little stand that sells burgers and hot dogs. They have an awesome chili dog that I have been eating a lot of.  about the de-worm pill.  It was just maybe possible that I had a worm so no big deal really. I took a worm killer pill but if I pooped it out I didn't notice it so it is hard to say if I really had one or not. of course I named it. I have bought two pairs of pants but one of the pants I have been wearing ripped so I am back down to three pairs. I have a 72 hour kit I got it when I got to Naga. We are teaching a couple people but only Tony has a baptismal date right now. I have not taught an english lesson but that would be cool. The creams help a ton my feet are almost better.

I love you all tons and hope you have a great week!!
