Christmas!

So it was Christmas for me this week because I got the packages and had Christmas Conference. My kabahay and comp were very nice and "helped" me open them all right away instead of opening them how you are supposed to all in order and stuff but oh well. The best part for sure was your letters. I loved them all so much. What was on the flash drive? Sadly it was corrupted so it is pretty useless unless I wipe it clean and just find something else to use it for. Also the candy canes don't like the humidity so if you send any again could you do it in a plastic bag so they don't melt all over other stuff? Everything from home has been so so nice to have and I have really been enjoying them. Christmas Conference was a blast because I got to see all my batch and just hang out with everybody. We had a cook-off and the Iriga zone (my zone) totally kicked trash. They made a sweet and sour fish thing that tasted so freaking good. Then probably the best part was the "resort"( that just means it has a pool. I thought it was pretty nice but I know it would be nothing compared to mom standards) we stayed at had a hot shower! I might have taken like a 30 minute shower.... Tuesday President and some other people shared a message about the Sabbath and how to keep it more holy. Then we went home. The work in Buhi has not been going super well. We are having a hard time finding people to teach but I am sure that as we keep trying we will have some success. Saturday we had the storm hit. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.Just rain and then sometimes some really strong wind. My comp said it was to bad to go out though so we staying in the house all day. That was super boring and I hated it pretty much but I did get some really good studying in. Sunday went okay but there was pretty much nobody that came because it was still raining a bit so yeah.. Then Sunday night we went to this funeral party thing. That was a pretty fun time and there was some really great food so that is always a bit plus

I could be a commercial

I finally found myself a scale and I now know I could be in a commercial. "It worked for me 30 pounds in just 3 months Everybody should try the Philippines weight loss program" It's all good though because I had the weight to lose so as long as I don't go down anymore. My new comp is freakin awesome. His name is Elder Cabahug from Manila. He works super hard and has a ton of experience because he is going home in February so he has been here a while.
Monday was a kinda sad day because all I did was help Elder Brown pack and then we went around to some people for him to say goodbye.
Tuesday we had transfers and that was a blast mostly because I got to see everybody from my batch and talk with them. They are all doing pretty okay and having a good time out here. After we got home (which took forever) We had to go to a restaurant opening of a LA member and his investigator wife. The food was okay and the people are super cool so I didn't mind that much.
The rest of the week we just worked. We have been really trying to find people that will come to church but sadly we haven't found them yet. Living in a house of all Filipinos has been a good and bad thing. The good is that there is a lot more Tagalog for me to hear and try to understand. I also have been getting more Filipino food so that is cool too. Bad is that I don't understand them that much yet so it is a lot of me just sitting there and wondering what the heck is going on. Elder Cabahug was looking through my pictures and he saw one of me and Con and he thought I was Connor because "You're too skinny to be the other one!!" so since then it has become his personal mission to make me eat all the time. Not a terrible thing except when I am super full and he says Kain Der! you need to eat. Still it has been pretty good. I have learned a ton from him and having him for my language study has helped me a lot.  We had a priesthood activity and at the end we did a thing called a Buddle fight where basically everybody gets around this table and eats as much as you can with just your hands it was a blast.
