they charged me because I'm mormon (not really)

Hey so this week was pretty great. I got to poop in a cup twice so that was fun. Tuesday I got to go on exchanges with Elder Lougee. As you know we are batch and so it was just super fun. It was also way cool because I remembered his Tagalog from back in the MTC and so compared to that he is a freakin pro. We really just had such a blast working together even though he might have gotten us lost at one point... Wednesday we had a DLC. In the morning though my stomach was just killing me so I gave sister Zapanta a call and she said I needed to go to the hospital and get a test... So after DLC elder Lougee and I went up there and got that done. I had to fill out a form while I was there and it asked me my religion. We were just kinda joking around with that because first I am obviously a missionary and second why does that matter really for what I needed them to do. Anyways after the test they said I could get a free evaluation from the doctor. I thought that was great so I did and after they were like "okay thank you that will be 30 piso." I  just gave elder Lougee a look and when we left he said they totally charged us because we are mormon. To be honest I have no idea why they charged us but it was pretty funny. the results said I was all normal but pooping 5 times a day in totally not normal so on Saturday sister Zapanta had me go to Naga for another poop test. I wasn't super happy when I got there though because they gave me this tiny little cup... but I made it work. the result though...... NO problems. But they did give me some meds and it has gotten better since then. Other than that our week was pretty normal. Just teaching teaching teaching. We did have interviews with president and that was really fun.

I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!!!

Transfers!!!!

Guess who got transferred!! Not me! I am still here in Pasacao which is awesome. I also am still with elder Olayon.  I really do love it here. Even though this last week was a little tough. We had a lot of lessons fall through and the family we were going to pick up Sunday to take to church texted Sunday morning and said not to come. So that was a little sad but I'm sure it will all work out. If there is one thing I have learned this week it is how to better trust and rely on God and his timing. Honestly by the end of the week I was pretty darn tired but Sunday was the recharge that I needed. I worked with some members, brother bernard and sister denden, and we had a great time. It really was God's hand in our work. We were looking for the house of a Less active member and we found some people that had been taught a few years ago. They said they are willing to listen to our message again so we taught them and set a return appointment with them as well. Then later that night we found a lady that was super interested in our message. Finding them was just the clearest answer to prayer for me. One of the people we are teaching is going to get baptized Saturday which is awesome!! She is only 9 years old but she is pretty smart and really wants to be baptized. It was also our Recent Convert's (Nica) birthday this week so we went to that. It was super fun and there was just a ton of food. We also met a couple of her friends there that said they are willing to listen to our message so that was super great.
Dad, we do lots of finding and honestly not very many people progress but the ones that do make it worth it. I have given my FB out to a couple people but I don't really know who has added me. I would love to be able to keep in touch with the people here.
Mom I told the mom of our recent convert that we would come back here and she said she would start learning English so she can talk to you. I hope you're that enthusiastic about learning Tagalog. Sadly our goal for having a baptism every week is not going to work out but at least we will have a couple this month which makes me happy. The people are honestly a lot more willing to talk to me here than in Naga. I don't really know why that is but it sure is helpful. I actually haven't had a single dream in Tagalog. It kinda bugs me actually. I really have seen a change. especially when I go back and read from my first journal. I have learned quite a bit.

I love you all so much and hope you have a great week!!!
